A best way to start your downsizing is this - straight up:
Use a strategy to find relief from…whatever causes you to stuff your Self.
Begin with the junk drawer in the kitchen.
Pull the drawer out of its space
Dump it onto a sheet or towel laid-out where you can work, uninterrupted
Sort into piles:
Toss things you don't need
Put things where they really belong
Clump like things together
Find little boxes to keep it all organized in the drawer - or use something like a silverware divider
Place the boxes/divider in the drawer
* each time you open this drawer, take a moment to view your success
** make sure to maintain the integrity of the space
*** go throught this drawer each month! Circle the date and mark it on your calendar for the rest of the year.
