How do you know when they can no longer make all their own choices? (Don't worry, this font is too small for them to read!)

- They keep talking about Frisky, the long dead cat, as though he just ran out the back door to catch a mouse.
- Neither one can tell you specifically what they did today.
- Food is rotting in the frig.
- The oven is spotless.
- They are wearing the same clothes identical to the last three visits. And look it.
- Yesterday's meds are still sitting in the pill container.
- They can't remember how to get home.
- The car has a few new dents, with no viable explanation.
Gentle persuation truly works best:
Find personal/home care services to provide some easy solutions to help your folks with daily tasks.
Create a few options and propose a deadline for them to make a choice.
And tell them you'll go feed the cat!
