Do the very thing that makes you insanely upset! Take on the bold move.
If you start with the ELEPHANT, the very thing you have been putting off that will help you gain happiness/comfort/greater sense of self/what you REALLY WANT, what remains on the list is SO much easier to deal with.
Think about the times when you careen into a Pity Party.
You suffer, lament what could have been, compare yourself to others, sob, carry on, whine, emit bitterness, seek comfort in savory or sweet foods (and a LOT of them,) you share, scream, cry, lie on the floor and kick your feet.
If you happen to glance up.
You will see someone else in a much more stressful, horrific situation than you.
You’ll notice they don’t have a sandwich, safe drinking water, shelter, clothing, support, a bed, hot water, a safe relationship, health, a bank account, place to keep what little money they have, a shoulder to cry on.
Wow.
Suddenly, you understand your CIRCUMSTANCES.
They certainly don’t represent you.
They don’t reflect who you declare your Purpose to be.
What was happening right…well, THEN, is no longer effecting you in the same way.
You have recovered from your fit (though you might be pinched at the waist from all that excess…)
Now you can turn to those around you who have much LESS.
And HUG, provide compassion, empathy, a cup of coffee and slice of cheesy bread.
