Small Biz Owner Scam

Here's Sally. She's an entrepreneur. She's out to get you. She spends all of her time wooing you, selling you, whispering sweet sales pitches in your ear, sucking you dry. She hides the legalees in fine print at the bottom of the contract page. She works two hours a day and makes a million bucks a year.

Actually, the truth of the matter is, all of us business owners, like Sally, spend a lot more time on our endeavor than you could ever imagine. On the toilet, we consider our next blog post. During church service, sales page strategy comes to mind. At the ball game, content for the upcoming class arises. While driving, a follow-up letter outline eeks in. At a phenominal party, we only think about our Marketing Plan. The elevator speech pops up at a concert. Dreams of synching the leads page with our mailchimp arrive at 3:00am. Who requires a new quote? appears out of nowhere in the ice cream isle. You think we can avoid business at the dentist? No! What could be added to the Budget slides in with the floss. How to squeak out time for a meal with a friend? Rarely. It REALLY never stops.

We think about business night and day, day and night. We wake up with sweaty palms oogling about the new presentation, About Me Video, contract request, sales pitch to the Bigwig, the quarterly ad, how to make payroll, setting up a new headshot, arrange for a Virtual Assistant, buy a new laptop, and more!

Downsizing, sorting, organizing, donating, selling, storing, planning for efficiency for clients loads up my brain. Doesn't leave much room for comedies.

Your Quality of Life is our job.

Don't forget it!

Give your next door neighbor business owner a hug from me, when you see her or him collecting the paper to inspect their new ad!
