A Cure for the Good Times Hangover


Yesterday was such a wondrous time, how do I compete with that?

My psyche drags itself along with the morning routine, longing for the thrill of yesterday.

Today already seems so mundane and trite. It literally yawns out loud in boredom. And it's only 8:01am.

Gotta get a grip on things.

Get outside.

Take a walk in the wind. Listen to the kids playing at the park. Watch old people struggle to get up and out of the car. Eat a cookie with your hot coffee. Delay going home for another block or two.

Shake it off.

Things look much better now.
