and she interrupted our private conversation with a question. "Do you help people in need with clothing donations? I've got a ton of stuff to give you. Do you have a card?"

She was eavesdropping. Didn't realize just how much my voice projects when I'm excited about my latest downsizing project. "Yes, of course!" I reply with enthusiasm that matches hers.

Just when I feel as though NOTHING IS GOING MY WAY, no one gets me, oh whoa is me, I have to give up my being an entrepreneur to work at the corner gas station selling crap hot dogs that spin around on the grill all day long....a perfectly wondrous stranger shows interest in my business, my life's work, my dream, my energy and time and effort and marketing. (Although I hadn't considered barking my story in every corner restaurant/bar, it's a thought!!)

Because of her, the young woman in the bar, who was willing to approach me with exuberance, I have reset my Sorted Affairs button. My entrepreneur flame isn't always fed by the obvious attentiveness of others yet, it certainly helps.

Who could you support today?

It takes a simple comment, upraised eyebrows, a lean-in, smile, connection to what they have shared, a PURCHASE gives you brownie points to get into HEAVEN (really!)

Go out and be present to people's business, support the locals, use your buying power where it matters.

And feel good doing it!
