The Period Packs weren't meant for everyone. Just for those who have a period.
PERIOD.
They were gifts, in cheerful bags, with essentials (CHOCOLATE IS an ESSENTIAL!!!) for that "time of the month" where she can use a little bit o' support.
We heard comments like:
"I LOVE the card!" (handwritten messages, from me (or my smart daughter) to HER.)
"The travel-sized items fit into my backpack perfectly!"
"I heard you were giving out gift bags, can I have one?"
"I'm giving it to my wife."
"I am grateful and VERY happy!"
"I'm glad it isn't a bunch of stuff I don't need."
Makes me all mushy and weapy and happy, and even more determined to get more stuff, for more women.
If you're feelin' blue about the holidays gone by...
GIVE.
It makes ya feel all better.
