If you ditch junk mail, straight into the recycle bin, you'll make more money.
REALLY??
Promise.
The more you declutter your stuff, results will BUST THROUGH.
Email hoarders are as prevalent as those folks on tv. You know the ones. Their house is so crammed, you can't slide into the crack through the front door.
Here are the steps to declutter your junk email.
1. Highlight all the emails you WANT to deal with.
2. FLAG
3. Create a Folder:
"Do or Die"
"So Amazing"
"I Don't Wanna Miss It"
"Inspirational Things to Watch"
4. Move the highlighted messages to each respective folder.
5. In Gmail, to to the little box on the top left of the page
6. Select ALL
7. Delete the rest of the emails. This is painful. I recently went through my 6800+ emails from 2012!! It does get easier, I promise. Initially, I was squirming in my seat, as though I had to pee, not wanting to delete anything I might NEED later. Half an hour later, I was selecting ALL and not even really looking at the subject lines, just paying attention to the sender. It became a game. I wanted to get rid of 4,000 before taking a break. Then my goal, before I got another cup of tea, was to jam 2,000 more into the trash. Before I knew it, I was down to 137 emails in my box. Whew. Such a relief.
Now I only have to deal with the hundreds that come in daily. I scan them quickly to see what I want to save and delete the rest.
8. Unsubscribe from MOST or if you're brave ALL of what you didn't read, especially 30 days or older
9. Create a separate email address for specific Need/Want-to-Know, and registering for webinars, petition signatures, etc.

When you finish this project, give your Self a gift. Of a walk in the park, glass of wine, favorite episode on Netflix, coupla crazy dance moves with Pandora (or the cat) and call a friend to brag.
WELL DONE, my friend!
